MetOceanWorks has launched MetOceanAtlas, a cloud-based platform that brings together quality-assured wave, current, wind and water-level data for the European continental shelf. The platform is intended to provide offshore energy developers, coastal engineers, shipping operators, and researchers with a single source of oceanographic information.
MetOceanAtlas offers interactive visualisation tools, options for accessing datasets and infrastructure that can support planning and analysis for offshore energy projects, coastal engineering, shipping and research. The platform has been developed using the company’s specialist expertise and feedback from clients.
MetOceanWorks plans to extend MetOceanAtlas with additional regions and analytical features as the platform develops.
