BadaEnergy, a portfolio of offshore wind projects in South Korea jointly developed by Corio Generation, TotalEnergies and SK ecoplant, announced that it had signed a front-end engineering design (FEED) contract with KEPCO E&C for the onshore power supply system at the Gray Whale 3 offshore wind farm.Under the contract, KEPCO E&C will perform as the FEED contractor for onshore cable route design and onshore substations of the Gray Whale 3. Gray Whale 3, a planned 504 MW wind farm around 60 to 70 kilometers from Onsan Port, is one of three floating offshore wind farms totalling 1.5GW being developed by BadaEnergy stakeholders off the coast of Ulsan.
