Dong Fang Offshore (DFO) has announced a charter agreement with Norwegian ocean services provider DeepOcean for the Orient Adventurer. The firm charter period will begin in early 2026 and run until the end of 2027, with options for up to four additional years.
The Orient Adventurer will primarily operate in Europe, supporting the offshore renewable energy sector, but it is also expected to undertake projects in other regions. To facilitate early deployment and ensure smooth project execution from 2026, DFO plans to open a branch office in Norway in 2025.
