Siemens Gamesa has announced that the final turbine is now installed at the Hollandse Kust Zuid offshore wind project, located in the North Sea off the coast of the Netherlands.
Once all of the 139 SG 11.0-200 DD turbines are commissioned, Hollandse Kust Zuid will have a total capacity of 1.5 GW, and will produce enough renewable electricity to power the equivalent of over 1.5 million Dutch households annually. The wind farm is owned by Vattenfall.
