GoBe Consultants, part of the Apem Group, has been appointed by Offshore Solutions Group (OSG) as Lead Environmental Consultant for the proposed Moray FLOW-Park development in Scotland. The project consists of two sites, Moray Firth North and Moray Firth South, which will provide seasonal wet storage for floating offshore wind (FLOW) foundation base units. The initiative is intended to support the logistics and scalability of floating wind deployment in the region.
GoBe will oversee all environmental aspects of the project, from baseline characterisation surveys to the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Habitats Regulations Appraisal (HRA), stakeholder engagement, public consultation, and submission of applications. Apem is supporting GoBe with baseline digital aerial surveys and wildlife data analysis. The consultancies will develop a unified environmental strategy for both sites, streamlining survey planning, European Protected Species (EPS) licensing, and related documentation to reflect their shared environmental conditions and proximity.
