Greenvolt, through its subsidiary Greenvolt Power, has secured financing for the construction of a 253.1 MW onshore wind project in Ialomița County, south-eastern Romania. The project is being developed under a sale agreement with Engie Romania, signed at the end of 2025.
Greenvolt Power will remain responsible for construction and commissioning until the project reaches commercial operation date in 2027, when the transaction is scheduled to be completed. The financing amounts to € 348 million and was arranged with a banking consortium comprising UniCredit Bank, Erste Group Bank, Raiffeisen Bank, Société Générale, BRD and Siemens Bank. The package also includes ancillary facilities.
