The L&G NTR Clean Power Fund (the Fund) has secured a 10% stake in the 714MW East Anglia ONE offshore wind farm from Macquarie Asset Management.
This Fund represents a joint venture between NTR and Legal & General Investment Management, a European asset manager and global investor. The transaction is conducted by NTR on behalf of the Fund. Headquartered in Luxembourg, the Fund focuses on investing in clean power infrastructure assets, encompassing wind, solar, and energy storage projects. East Anglia ONE, situated 43km off the Suffolk coast in the North Sea, spans 300km2 and has the capacity to supply energy to approximately 630,000 homes annually. The legal advisory for the acquisition was provided by Watson Farley & Williams (WFW), with support from the Development Bank of Japan.
