LS Cable & System and LS Marine Solution have announced their selection as the preferred bidder for the supply of submarine cables for the Taean Offshore Wind Power Plant in South Chungcheong Province, South Korea.The 500MW offshore wind farm is being developed by Vena Energy, a Singapore-based renewable energy company, off the coast of Geunheung-myeon, Taean-gun. LS Cable will supply the submarine cables, while LS Marine Solution will handle construction. The project is slated for completion in 2029.
