Naver has signed a 25-year wind power purchase agreement with GS Wind Power. Under the agreement, GS Wind Power will supply electricity from an onshore wind complex under construction in Yeongyang-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do, in eastern South Korea. The project is expected to reach commercial operation in the first half of 2028 and generate around 180 GWh annually.

Naver will use the contracted electricity to supply its data centres in Sejong and Chuncheon. The company expects the agreement to support an increase in its renewable energy share to approximately 46% by 2029.

In addition to the PPA, Naver has acquired a 30% stake in the wind project.
