Auren Energia has commissioned Nordex to supply and install 19 N163/5.X turbines for the Cajuína 3 wind farm in Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil.
The 112 MW order includes an initial 15-year service agreement, with extension options of up to 30 years. The turbines, operating at 5.9 MW on 120-metre concrete towers, are set for installation in early 2026, with commissioning planned for autumn 2026.
