Nordex has secured an order from OX2 for the supply and installation of wind turbines at the Fageråsen wind farm in Sweden. The contract covers 27 N163/6.X turbines, each mounted on 119 metre tubular steel towers, with a combined installed capacity of 189 MW.
The turbines will be equipped with cold climate adaptations including Nordex’s anti-Icing system. The scope of supply also includes a long-term service agreement with a production-based availability guarantee for up to 25 years. Fageråsen wind farm will be located in the municipality of Malung-Sälen, southwest of Malung, in the Dalarna region. Initial component deliveries for foundation works are planned to start in 2026, with turbine installation expected to begin in 2027. The project is scheduled to become operational in early 2028.
