Spie Global Services Energy has announced that its Correll entity has been awarded two multi-year framework agreements by Vattenfall for cable testing and fault finding at its offshore wind farms in Europe.
The agreements cover all existing and potential new Vattenfall offshore wind farms in Europe, excluding Germany, for an initial five-year period. The scope includes work related to the High Voltage (HV) Submarine Cable System, such as pinpointing electrical cable faults through appropriate testing, cable condition monitoring, and specific testing before re-energization. One of the framework agreements will cover offshore wind farms in the UK, while the other will cover the rest of Europe, excluding Germany and the UK.
