Masdar and Infinity Power sign agreement for 200 MW wind farm in Egypt

Masdar and Infinity Power have signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company (EETC) for a 200 MW wind farm in Ras Ghareb, located in the Gulf of Suez region.

 

The agreement ensures a long-term supply of renewable energy from the onshore wind project. Once completed, the wind farm is expected to produce 810,000 MWh per year.
