Vestas has received an order for 220MW of V120-2.2MW turbines for a wind project in the USA. The order includes supply and commissioning of the turbines as well as a 25-year service agreement.
Customer and project are undisclosed per the customer’s request. Deliveries are expected to begin in the third quarter of 2019 with commissioning planned for the fourth quarter of 2019.
Further, Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) has placed an order for 143 MW of V126-3.45 MW turbines for the Bearkat II Wind project in Texas. Bearkat II is the second phase of the Bearkat project. Including previously purchased components, the project will have a total capacity of 162 MW. The order includes supply and commissioning of the turbines as well as a 30-year service agreement, which also includes balance of plant operations and maintenance. Deliveries are expected to begin in the third quarter of 2019 while commissioning is planned for fourth quarter of 2019.
Vestas has also received a 182MW order for V150-4.2 MW turbines for another project in the USA. The order includes supply and commissioning of the turbines as well as a ten-year service agreement. Deliveries are expected to begin in the second quarter of 2020, with commissioning expected in the fourth quarter of 2020. The project and customer are undisclosed at the customer’s request.
Vestas has also received a 182MW order for V150-4.2 MW turbines for another project in the USA. The order includes supply and commissioning of the turbines as well as a ten-year service agreement. Deliveries are expected to begin in the second quarter of 2020, with commissioning expected in the fourth quarter of 2020. The project and customer are undisclosed at the customer’s request.
