Vestas has received a firm and unconditional order for 43 V90-1.8 MW wind turbines for Argentina from Emgasud S.A.
The Rawson I Wind Farm & Rawson II Wind Farm will be built in the Chubut Province and will have a capacity of 77MW. The order includes delivery, transportation, installation and commissioning of the wind turbines, a VestasOnline Business SCADA system and a 5-year service and maintenance agreement. Delivery of the turbines is expected to start in the first half of 2011 and to be completed in January 2012.
