Vestas has received an order for 60MW of V-136-3.45 turbines delivered in a mix of power modes including 3.6 Power Optimised Mode turbines for a project in Canada. The project and customer are undisclosed per the customer’s request. 
 
The order includes supply and commissioning of the turbines as well as a five-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreements for each project. The turbines will have a hub heights of 132 meters. Deliveries will begin in the second quarter of 2019, with commissioning scheduled for the fourth quarter.
 
Vestas has also secured a 59 MW order for 14 V150-4.2 MW turbines with wpd for the Kuuronkallio project located near Kannus in the Kalajoki region on the west coast of Finland. wpd has already secured a power purchase agreement with a third party for the full production of the Kuuronkallio wind park. The Kuuronkallio project will feature VestasOnline Business SCADA solution. The contract further includes supply, installation and commissioning of the wind turbines, as well as a 20-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement. Turbine installation is scheduled for the second half of 2019.
 
SITAC and EDF Renewables have placed an order for a 100MW project awarded at the Gujarat state auction held in December 2017. With this order, Vestas has received 150 MW out of the total of 500 MW capacity in the auction round. The order includes supply and installation of 50 V120-2.2 MW turbines delivered in 2.0 Load Optimised Mode. Turbine delivery is expected to commence in the first quarter of 2019, while commissioning is expected by the third quarter of 2019.
 
Vestas has also received a 53MW order from the only aluminium smelter in Argentina, Aluar Aluminio Argentino S.A.I.C., to supply 14 V136-3.45 MW wind turbines with 3.6 MW Power Optimised Mode specifically increased to 3.8 MW for the Llano park in Chubut Province. Turbine delivery is planned for the fourth quarter of 2019. The project also includes a 20-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement. The turbines will be manufactured at the assembly facility to be inaugurated soon in Campana, in the Buenos Aires province.
