Vestas has received an order for a 62 MW wind energy project in Germany as part of its first-quarter order intake. The project, named Profen II, is located in the regions of Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt.
It has been commissioned by MIBRAG, a subsidiary of Energetický a průmyslový holding (EPH). The project will feature ten V162-6.2 MW turbines, and Vestas also signed a 20-year service agreement . Turbine delivery is scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2026, with commissioning planned for the first quarter of 2027.
