Vestas Northern and Central Europe announced a new order for the Günstedt project in Germany. The order, placed by Meridian Windpark Günstedt, involves the supply and installation of 10 V162-6.2 MW turbines, totalling 62 MW. This project includes a 20-year service agreement. Delivery is scheduled for the third quarter of 2026, with commissioning expected in the first quarter of 2027.
Vestas Asia Pacific reported securing a 77 MW order for the Kaiwaikawe project in New Zealand. The order, made by Mercury Energy, comprises 12 V162-6.4 MW turbines. Vestas will provide a 30-year service agreement to support this project. Both delivery and commissioning are planned for 2026.
Vestas-American Wind Technology has secured an 86 MW order from Brookfield Renewable for the Mulqueeney project in the USA. This order includes the supply and installation of 19 V163-4.5 MW turbines. The project will be supported by a 10-year service agreement. Delivery is planned for the fourth quarter of 2025, with commissioning expected in the first quarter of 2026.
Vestas Northern and Central Europe announced an order totalling 224 MW for two projects in Sweden: Vinliden (70 MW) and Fjällberg (154 MW). The customer, Vinliden Vindkraft, represents a joint venture between funds managed by Prime Capital AG and Polhem Infra. This order includes the supply of 35 V162-6.4 MW turbines equipped with Vestas' Anti-icing Solution, with 24 units for Fjällberg and 11 units for Vinliden. The projects are located in Västerbotten. Turbine delivery is set to begin in the second quarter of 2026, with commissioning to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2026. Vestas will also service the turbines under a long-term service agreement.
