Deme Offshore Holding has acquired a 50% stake in Bauer Offshore Technologies, a subsidiary of the Bauer Group based in Schrobenhausen, Germany. Bauer Offshore Technologies specialises in drilling services for the installation of offshore wind farm foundations.
The company will become part of Deme’s Offshore Energy segment but will continue to operate under the Bauer Offshore Technologies brand. It will also maintain close collaboration with the Bauer Group. The agreement includes an option for Deme to acquire the remaining 50% stake within the next five years.
