DNV has made a strategic minority investment in Vind AI through DNV Ventures, supporting the company’s platform development and international expansion. The investment includes DNV taking an observer seat on Vind AI’s board.

Vind AI is a digital platform focused on renewable energy project development. Alongside the investment, Vind AI and DNV have agreed to integrate DNV’s CFD-ML wind modelling capability directly into the Vind AI platform.

The funding round also included participation from existing investors Norrsken VC and Arkwright X, as well as Vind AI employees, who remain the largest shareholder group with around 70% ownership.

Vind AI will continue to operate as an independent company and maintain its existing model of collaboration with data and technology partners across the sector.
