EWTS’ Managing Director, Martin Dijkstra with EWTS’ Shareholder Malek Tawashy and EWTS’ assembly team in Amersfoort, The NetherlandsThe first wind turbine has been dispatched from EWT Systems’ headquarters in Amersfoort, the Netherlands, as part of the company’s ongoing restart strategy. The milestone was achieved ahead of its 60-day target.

EWT Systems B.V. was established following an asset purchase agreement on 17 April 2025 by a consortium comprising Northern Energy Capital, GreenCat Renewables and Northern Power Systems. The company aims to continue supplying its megawatt-scale wind turbine platform to community, government and commercial energy users worldwide.

The platform, ranging from 250kW to 1MW, is tailored to distributed energy applications. It supports both on-grid and off-grid projects, including behind-the-metre installations and micro-grids in remote or isolated locations.

While the company has undergone restructuring, its core team, technical expertise and mission remain in place.
