Gavin & Doherty Geosolutions (GDG) has appointed Dr Trevon Joseph as Offshore Technical Director to support its expansion into new offshore services and markets.Dr Joseph is a Chartered Geotechnical Engineer and Doctor of Engineering specialising in offshore geotechnics. He brings over 15 years of expertise in delivering engineering projects for the global renewable energy industry and has led research into innovative geotechnical topics. As a member of the Institution of Civil Engineers and former Chairman of the Offshore Engineering Society, Dr Joseph has experience in developing integrated ground models, geotechnical database management, and detailed design engineering of complex foundations. He has also contributed to initial studies for wind farm sites, including Seagreen Offshore Wind Farm, Rampion Offshore Wind Farm, and Swansea Bay Tidal Lagoon.
