Edda Wind takes delivery of SOV for Siemens Gamesa contract

Edda Wind has announced that the company has taken delivery of C416 from Astilleros Balenciaga.

 

The vessel will serve as the permanent vessel in the contract with Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy at the Saint-Brieuc wind farm in France, lasting until Q2 2028. The vessel has been prepared for zero-emission operations with hydrogen as an energy carrier in a Liquid Organic Hydrogen Carrier concept. C416 is of Salt 0358 design and can accommodate up to 60 persons in separate cabins.
