Youwind Renewables and Westwood Global Energy Group (Westwood) have announced a data integration agreement. As part of the agreement, Westwood will provide proprietary data from its WindLogix platform for use in Youwind's engineering and financial modelling platform through the applications Pixel+ and OptiWindow.
This integration will give Youwind users access to a global dataset on leases, projects, key components, and vessels, which can be benchmarked and used as modelling inputs.
Westwood’s WindLogix solution tracks and forecasts offshore wind growth using a bottom-up approach. Youwind’s web-based platform combines engineering and financial modelling to calculate multiple scenarios, aiming to optimise both technical feasibility and profitability of offshore wind projects globally.
