Mingyang Smart Energy has unveiled two new wind turbine models: the MySE 22MW offshore wind turbine and the MySE 11-233 onshore wind turbine.
The MySE 22MW is an offshore turbine with a rotor diameter exceeding 310 metres, designed for wind regions with an average wind speed of 8.5 m/s to 10 m/s. This turbine is resilient to typhoons and can be deployed in both fixed-bottom and floating applications. It is expected to become available between 2024 and 2025.
The MySE 11-233 is currently in production at Mingyang's base in Inner Mongolia and is tailored for the demanding conditions of desert and Gobi regions. The turbine is available in various diameters ranging from 233 to 243 meters and tower heights from 130 to 200 meters. It incorporates thermal management technology, maintenance-free sand filters, and grid-friendly features, making it suitable for regions with limited power infrastructure.
