ABO Energy has won three more wind project tariffs in the latest tender by the German Federal Network Agency. The awarded projects include the Külsheim wind farm in Baden-Württemberg, which will feature three repowering turbines with a capacity of 21.6 MW.
In Hesse, the Großenlüder project will consist of a single turbine generating 6.8 MW. The Schälker Heide Schwerte wind farm in North Rhine-Westphalia will have two turbines with a total capacity of 11.4 MW. These projects are expected to begin operations between late 2026 and mid-2027.
In this tender round, the Federal Network Agency awarded contracts for 422 bids, amounting to a total of 4.1 GW. The average tariff was 7.00 cents per kilowatt hour, slightly below the previous round’s 7.15 cents.
