Glamox has secured a contract to supply LED marine lighting for the Thor offshore wind farm in Denmark. Awarded by ProCon Wind Energy, the contract covers lighting for 72 wind turbine foundations at the RWE-operated wind farm.

The project will use Glamox’s second-generation MIR linear luminaires for both internal and external lighting. ProCon Wind Energy will procure, supply, and install the lighting at yards in Poland and Greece. Turbine installation is scheduled for 2026, with operations expected to begin in 2027. Located approximately 22 km off the west coast of Jutland near Thorsminde, the Thor wind farm will have a capacity of over 1 GW once operational.
