Jan De Nul, in consortium with Hellenic Cables, has signed a framework agreement with National Grid, allowing the consortium to participate in upcoming tenders for HVDC cable systems.
These projects will cover the design, manufacturing, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of cable systems as part of National Grid’s offshore and onshore transmission infrastructure programme. The framework agreement has an initial term of five years, with an option to extend for up to three additional years. The consortium will compete for future turnkey project tenders under this agreement.
