Lankhorst Offshore has been awarded a contract by Delmar Systems to supply mooring lines for Archer Wind’s work on the Culzean Floating Wind project, located offshore Aberdeen. The 3 MW turbine is a pilot project by TotalEnergies, designed to produce electricity for the nearby Culzean gas platform.
Situated in the Central North Sea, around 222 km east of Aberdeen, and part of Scotland’s INTOG leasing round, the Culzean floater is being built, installed, and commissioned by EPCIC contractor Archer Wind on behalf of their client TotalEnergies. A 2 km export cable will link the wind turbine to the Culzean gas platform.
