UAB Renerga, a wind energy project developer in Lithuania and part of the Achema Group, has contracted the Nordex Group to supply 40 N163/6.X turbines. These turbines, from the Delta4000 series, will be used for the 264 MW Pagegiai wind farm project in the western part of the country.
The contract also includes a service agreement. Infrastructure works are set to begin in June 2024, with turbine delivery and installation starting in spring 2025. The Nordex Group will install the turbines on tubular steel towers, with 29 towers at hub heights of 118 metres and 11 towers at hub heights of 113 metres. The wind farm is expected to be completed by 2026.
