The Nordex Group has received an order to supply 14 N163/5.X turbines from Borusan EnBW Enerji, a developer and operator of wind energy projects in Türkiye.
These turbines are part of the Delta4000 series and are slated for the 80 MW Pelit wind farm in the Sivas Province. The contract also includes a service agreement for the turbines spanning 10 years. Situated on a mountain ridge about 20 km northwest of the Sivas Gürün district, the Pelit wind farm project will feature the installation of a cold climate version of the turbines. These turbines will be mounted on tubular steel towers with hub heights of 108 metres. Borusan EnBW Enerji has also opted for the Nordex Advanced Anti-icing System to mitigate ice formation on the rotor blades.
