OnPath Energy has acquired two Renewables Obligation Certificate (ROC)-accredited onshore wind farms, Milton Keynes Wind Farm in Buckinghamshire and Pates Hill Wind Farm in West Lothian, from GCP Infrastructure Investments. Both sites have been operational since 2010 and feature seven Vestas V-90 2.0 MW turbines, with a combined capacity of 28 MW.
The community benefits packages associated with the wind farms will continue under new ownership. This marks OnPath Energy’s first acquisition since its takeover by Brookfield Asset Management in December 2023 through the Brookfield Global Transition Fund II. The company, formerly Banks Renewables, now operates 12 onshore wind farms across Scotland and England.
