Palfinger Marine has been selected to supply 100 platform cranes for the operations and maintenance of offshore wind turbines in Poland. The company will equip the Bałtyk 2 and 3 offshore wind farms with 100 PF120-4.0m fixed boom cranes.
The offshore wind farms, located near Ustka and Łeba, are a joint development by Equinor and Polenergia and are expected to be fully operational by 2028. Production of the cranes will begin in April at Palfinger’s facility in Maribor, Slovenia, with all units scheduled for delivery by November 2025. The contracting partner for this order is Belgian company Smulders.
