Qualitas has acquired a 250 MW wind energy portfolio in Germany. The pipeline includes four advanced wind farm projects with 37 planned turbines across Saxony-Anhalt, Hesse, Lower Saxony, and Baden-Württemberg. Once operational, these wind farms will supply clean electricity to over 166,000 households.
This acquisition follows recent purchases, including a wind farm with 32 turbines near the North Sea coast and seven additional wind farms with a repowering potential of 173 MW. It is the largest transaction since Qualitas Energy acquired the 1.4 GW DunoAir wind development business in early 2023.
