Suzlon has received an order for 204.75 MW from Jindal Green Wind 1, a subsidiary of Jindal Renewables. Under this order, Suzlon will supply 65 S144 wind turbine generators with Hybrid Lattice Towers, each with a capacity of 3.15 MW.

The generated energy will be used for captive consumption at steel plants in Chhattisgarh and Odisha, India. Jindal Renewables is currently developing nearly 3 GW of renewable energy assets with secured power off-take agreements. The company plans to expand its portfolio to around 12 GW, including renewable energy projects, storage facilities, and green hydrogen production by 2030.
