Vestas has secured a 384 MW order for the second phase of DTEK’s Tyligulska wind energy project in Ukraine. This follows the 114 MW Tyligulska I order received in March 2021, which was commissioned in spring 2023.
For the second phase, Vestas will supply, deliver, and commission 64 wind turbines. Combined, Tyligulska I and II will have a total capacity of 498 MW, featuring 83 V162-6.2 MW turbines operating in 6.0 MW mode. The project benefits from strong support from Denmark, Ukraine, and the EU, along with financial backing from EIFO, the Export and Investment Fund of Denmark. Vestas will also provide long-term service for both phases under a 20-year agreement. Turbine delivery is set to begin in early 2025, with commissioning expected by the end of 2026.
