Ventyr has named Worley Rosenberg as Preferred Contractor for the offshore substation at the Sørlige Nordsjø II wind farm in Norway. The agreement includes early design and engineering work, set to begin in June, with a planned transition to the engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) phase in December 2025.
The project will be executed from Norway, with support from the wider Worley organisation. Sørlige Nordsjø II is Norway’s first large-scale offshore wind project and is expected to supply electricity to around 500,000 households once operational.
