Between 1 January and 31 March 2025, Goldwind’s external wind turbine sales totalled 2,587.65MW, marking an 80.16% increase year-on-year. Turbines rated below 4MW accounted for 3.00MW, or 0.12% of total volume. Units in the 4MW to 6MW range contributed 760.95MW, making up 29.41%, while turbines rated at 6MW and above represented the largest share at 1,823.70MW, or 70.47% of sales.

As of 31 March 2025, the company had 39,194.99MW of external orders awaiting execution. This included 587.12MW for turbines below 4MW, 7,460.26MW for those between 4MW and 6MW, and 31,147.61MW for turbines of 6MW and above. In addition, Goldwind had 9,424.92MW in external orders that had been awarded but not yet signed, including 711.20MW for the 4MW to 6MW category and 8,713.72MW for 6MW and above.

The total volume of external orders reached 48,619.91MW, of which 6,908.97MW were for overseas projects. Internal orders stood at 2,471.33MW, resulting in a combined total of 51,091.24MW on hand. This represents a year-on-year increase of 51.81%.

Goldwind's financial performance for the first quarter of 2025 reflected significant growth. Operating income reached RMB 9.47 billion, a 35.72% increase compared with the RMB 6.98 billion reported in the same period of 2024. Net profit attributable to shareholders rose to RMB 568.25 million, up 70.84% from RMB 332.62 million a year earlier. When excluding non-recurring items, net profit stood at RMB 555.06 million, a 68.41% rise.

Net cash flows from operating activities improved substantially, narrowing to a negative RMB 1.64 billion, compared with a negative RMB 6.05 billion in the first quarter of 2024.

Basic earnings per share rose to RMB 0.1299 from RMB 0.0726, an increase of 78.93%. Diluted earnings per share were RMB 0.1292, up 77.96% year-on-year. The weighted average return on net assets increased to 1.48%, from 0.86% in the previous year.

As of 31 March 2025, total assets stood at RMB 159.01 billion, up 2.44% compared with RMB 155.22 billion at the end of 2024. Equity attributable to shareholders increased to RMB 39.12 billion, a rise of 1.53% from RMB 38.53 billion.
