Sif and Smulders have collaborated on offshore wind foundations for over 20 years. Sif supplies the primary steel for monopiles and transition pieces, while Smulders manages the secondary steel and outfitting of transition pieces and transition piece-less monopiles.In addition to production, the two companies work together on logistical solutions and product development. Until now, their partnership has been project-based, but to enhance their collaboration, they have signed a general cooperation agreement.
