Subsea Micropiles has acquired the technology intellectual property portfolio of Acoustic Zoom. The company plans to combine Acoustic Zoom’s acoustic imaging techniques with conventional geotechnical survey methods to streamline survey and construction processes and reduce the high capital costs often incurred before financial close on offshore projects.
Using advanced machine learning, Subsea Micropiles aims to integrate field data with ground models to improve understanding of subsurface conditions. This approach is expected to support the design and performance prediction of anchor and foundation systems, including those used in offshore wind applications.
