The UK Government has announced that two port infrastructure projects are advancing towards securing a portion of up to £160 million in funding.
In a bid to bolster floating wind development in the UK, the Port of Cromarty Firth and Port Talbot will undergo due diligence as part of the Government's Floating Offshore Wind Manufacturing Investment Scheme (FLOWMIS). The funding is intended to encourage private investment in port infrastructure with the capacity to facilitate the pipeline of floating wind projects in Scotland.
