BW Ideol has revealed its new market strategy, merging standardisation and mass production principles. Introducing a standardised floating foundation product based on the Damping Pool solution, BW Ideol offers a versatile solution suitable for various meteocean conditions found in major floating wind markets.
The product includes three classes tailored to different environmental conditions and is compatible with all wind turbines of 15 MW or more. The solution can be readily scaled to accommodate upcoming 20 MW+ wind turbines. Additionally, BW Ideol has unveiled its manufacturing line blueprint for the mass production of concrete floating foundations, designed to optimise each production step and capable of producing up to one floating foundation per week.
