Apex Clean Energy has announced the partial sale of a US based energy portfolio to Electricity Generating Public Company Limited (EGCO Group).
Under the agreement, EGCO Group will acquire a 49% stake in the "Pinnacle II" portfolio, while Apex will retain the majority share and continue to manage operations. The 251 MW portfolio includes two projects: the 126 MW Downeast Wind in Maine and the 125 MWac Wheatsborough Solar project in Ohio. Both projects are in the final stages of construction and are expected to begin commercial operations in 2025.
