Nova Clean Energy (Nova) has announced the acquisition of HyFuels, a portfolio comprising more than 1GW of mid-to-late-stage wind and solar development projects, alongside an earlier stage green ammonia project.
Located on the Texas Gulf Coast, HyFuels spans approximately 25,000 acres and features a power supply split evenly between wind and solar. The initial phase of the project is anticipated to achieve Full Notice to Proceed (NTP) by 2025, with Commercial Operations slated for 2026. Nova acquired HyFuels from BNB Renewable Energy (BNB) and has entered into a long-term development services agreement with BNB.
