RWE secures 800MW of capacity from Nordex

RWE and Nordex have entered into a multi-year contract for the supply of wind turbines, totalling 800MW. Over the next two and a half years, RWE will procure approximately 120 wind turbines from Nordex for its European markets.

 

By 2030, RWE aims to increase its installed capacity in the onshore wind sector from the current 8.6GW to 14GW. RWE presently operates 53 wind farms equipped with Nordex wind turbines across seven countries.
