Seaproof Solutions has announced its recent award by Van Oord Dredging and Marine Contractors for the supply of cable protection systems for the Belgian Norther offshore wind farm.
The contract covers the design and supply of 89 cable protection systems for the inner array grid and the export cables. Norther is an offshore wind farm covering 44 wind turbines, with a maximum capacity of 370MW that will be built in the Belgian North Sea, approximately 23 kilometres from the Belgian port of Zeebruges.
