RWE has been granted a 495MW Electricity Business Licence (EBL) by the Ministry of Trade, Industry & Energy of Korea for the Seohae offshore wind project.
The offshore wind farm is situated around 45 kilometres off the coast of Taean County in South Korea’s Chungcheongnam Province. The next phase involves collaborating with local suppliers to continue Engineering and Environmental Impact Assessment studies and engaging with the local county and the Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) to plan and secure a grid connection agreement.
