SBM Offshore and Technip Energies have announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding to establish a joint venture entity named EkWiL.
This new company will focus on Floating Offshore Wind (FOW) solutions and will offer a range of services to clients. EkWiL will leverage the combined expertise, engineering capabilities, and complementary technologies of Technip Energies and SBM Offshore. Operating as a 50/50 joint venture, EkWiL will function as a fully integrated team, pooling knowledge, innovation, and resources to advance projects such as the Semi-submersible INO15 by Technip Energies and the Tension Leg Platform Float4Wind towards commercial deployment.
