Codling Wind Park has appointed Cowi for the Front End Engineering Design (FEED) and Detailed Design of foundations. Cowi will be responsible for designing wind turbine generator foundations, associated components, and offshore substation foundations.
Located southeast of Dublin in the Irish Sea, Codling Wind Park is projected to have a capacity of around 1300MW. The park secured its grid connection agreement in 2022 and successfully participated in Ireland's first Offshore Renewable Energy Support Scheme (ORESS) in 2023.
