Ilmatar has started commercial electricity production at its new wind farm in Ii, Northern Ostrobothnia, Finland. The Pahkakoski project consists of 30 turbines with a combined capacity of 186 MW.
The site is expected to generate around 600 GWh of renewable electricity each year. Construction began at the end of 2023. To streamline progress, Ilmatar used the TCI (Transport, Crane and Installation) contracting model, where transport, lifting, and installation work are managed separately from the turbine supplier’s scope.
